Aareon AG, which is headquartered in Mainz, is an international consultancy and IT systems house for the property sector. The company is the market leader in Germany. Aareon has a market presence spanning more than 50 years, as well as specific industry expertise, IT competence and relationships with customers, associations and partners, which have evolved over time. Its business activities focus on optimising the IT-supported business processes of small-, medium- and large-sized property companies, offering a range of products and services that comprise consultancy services, software solutions, IT services and support. In addition, Aareon manages the business processes that have been outsourced by its customers.

Aareon’s systems are employed by around 50,000 users to manage some 8 million rental units throughout Europe. Aareon Group has offices in 21 locations in Europe, of which 13 are in Germany.

Sales of € 157.3 million and EBIT of € 16.6 million in 2007 confirmed Aareon AG’s position as a leading consultancy and IT systems house for the property sector. The company employs approx. 1,000 staff throughout the Group, of which 15 percent work outside of Germany.

Aareon AG is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Wiesbaden-based Aareal Bank Group. As the largest subsidiary, and market leader in Germany, Aareon has tremendous strategic importance for Aareal Bank in the housing sector.
