1999 Group with a holding company structure is created and renamed DePfa IT Services AG. International expansion also begins
2001 Introduction of the service portal Mareon

Start of cooperation with SAP AG to develop a new software generation - Blue Eagle - for the property sector

Parent company DePfa Bank AG split into a Public Finance bank and a Property bank. Change of company name to Aareon AG. Aareon AG is now wholly-owned by Aareal Bank AG.

2004 Launch of Blue Eagle and Aareon Energy Management services
2006

Introduction of an ERP multi-product strategy

Strategic partnership entered into with energy services provider Techem, to exchange Aareon’s Energy Management against Techem IT Services. Aareon Wodis GmbH is the product of the takeover of Techem IT Services GmbH

2007

Company celebrates its 50th anniversary

Construction starts on new Aareon headquarters in Mainz

Market launch of the document management system Aareon DMS

Enhancement of the international business: Acquisition of the French Sylogis.com SAS (100 %)
