Aareal Award of Excellence in Real Estate Research
Real Estate Management Institute (REMI) of European Business School (EBS) and Aareal Bank AG annually present the "Aareal Award of Excellence in Real Estate Research" to reward superior endeavour in the field of real estate economics.
In 2008, for the first time, the competition will be directed at students from international universities. The award carries prize monies totalling € 10,000.
"Education thrives on innovation and innovation stems from excellent research. We see this new prize as an initiative especially to get young professionals interested and involved in research", that is the joint belief of REMI and Aareal Bank AG.
Subjects
This year, scientific papers in any of the following subjects will be admitted to the competition:
- Real estate financing
- Real estate risk management
- Environmental efficiency in the real estate sector
Entry conditions and application
You may apply with:
- Scientific papers of all categories, i.e. Bachelor or Master theses
- Diploma or doctoral theses of all types of universities including universities of applied science and universities of cooperative education
The Rules for participation and the application documents are available on page "Aareal Award of Excellence in Real Estate Research" of Real Estate Management Institute (REMI). Applicants may register until 15 January 2009.
Award ceremony
An independent jury will select the best works. The “Aareal Award of Excellence in Real Estate Research” will be presented on 27 February 2009 on the occasion of the 10th Real Estate Congress on the campus of the European Business School at Schloss Reichartshausen in Oestrich-Winkel.
