Aareal Bank at the 2017 Handelsblatt Energy Industry Conference

Spring in Germany traditionally belongs to the energy sector: From 24 to 26 January 2017, German utilities will meet in Berlin - and Aareal Bank will take part.

In essence, it is all about new market players, new business models, and innovative formats and technologies. In addition to exciting presentations on topics such as decentralised energy supply or digital transformation - among them lectures by the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Sigmar Gabriel, and Peter Terium, CEO of Innogy SE - visitors will find a newly designed exhibition area where Aareal Bank will present its BK01 eConnect solution at its own trade fair stand.

This year, more than 1,200 participants from more than 20 nations are expected to join the 24th Handelsblatt Energy Industry conference. "For many years now, we have been participating in this event with our sales team", explains Andreas Beckmann, Director Integrated Payment Solutions, "last year, we presented our BK01 eConnect solution for the sector trend towards electronic billing for the first time. The response was highly positive. We aim to build on this in 2017"
