In 2004 Aareal Bank opened an office in Singapore in order to provide advisory services, primarily to the hotel investment community in the region.
As part of Aareal Bank's global strategy, Singapore acts as the Bank's regional hub for the Asia / Pacific region.
Aareal Bank Asia Limited (formerly Aareal Financial Services, Singapore), the Asian subsidiary of Aareal Bank AG, was granted a merchant banking license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore in August 2007. This represents a important milestone in Aareal Bank's successful expansion in Asia / Pacific.
Our objective is to expand the bank's real estate portfolio progressively, particularly in China, Japan, Singapore and Resort Destinations such as The Maldives.
