Aareal Bank entered the Swedish market as early as in 1995.
Today, we manage a loan portfolio of more than € 1.5bn comprising all asset types of commercial real estate including residential developments. Our financings range from € 10m up to € 500m; additionally, we arrange or take part in syndications.
Our office in Stockholm was opened in 2001 as a Representative Office and became a branch in 2007; in accordance with Aareal Bank’s strategy of implementing a worldwide hub structure, Stockholm became the coordinating office for all our Northern European activities in 2006.
Aareal Bank assists its clients with its multi-lingual staff of local real estate and investment specialists and the support of the Wiesbaden-based team, which is mostly made up of native Swedes.
We provide investors and developers with all kinds of structured loan facilities, varying from share asset deals to mezzanine and VAT financings. Aareal Bank also offers structured unsecured corporate loans for the Swedish market. With the help of our specialists all over the world, we offer our structured financing products to local companies, supporting them in their attempt of starting new activities on foreign markets.
