Aareal Bank Group began its real estate lending activities in the United States’ market in 1999 and shortly thereafter opened a Representative Office in New York. In September 2006 this Representative Office was substantially upsized and merged into newly created Aareal Capital Corporation effective March 2008. The wholly owned subsidiary of Aareal Bank is focused on lending in and to the North American real estate market which extends to the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico.

The team of dedicated and experienced professionals offers investors and developers a wide range of lending facilities, both secured and unsecured, senior, B-note and mezzanine facilities. Our products include mortgage loans and structured real estate debt for financing office, retail, hotel, industrial and multifamily residential real estate. The clientele comprises national real estate companies including REITs, opportunity funds and well capitalized private companies as well as international investors. The Corporation selectively also invests in senior rated commercial mortgage backed securities in the U.S.A.
