Transaction Advisor (f/m) Scandinavia (Reference-No. JW 2055)
Our Transaction Advisory Team is looking for lawyers who see the world through Scandinavian eyes
It is not the colour of your eyes but your grasp of Northern European attitudes and actions that counts. And if you are familiar with the Nordic way of thinking and dealing, then we're probably made for each other. As one of the leading international property specialists our Bank provides excellent insights on the international property market. Your role is to supplement this knowledge with your legal expertise - for the Scandinavian markets in particular.
In your position as transaction advisor in our headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany, you will focus primarily on the legal aspects of international loan transactions - from drawing up the contractual agreements to auditing securities and taking responsibility for their documentation and approval. In addition, your legal advice will be required for the documentation process in new and existing transactions and the coordination as well as the drawing up of specific country manuals taking the latest international legal judgements into account.
You will simultaneously play a supporting role in starting business in new foreign markets - ranging from analysing the legal system to drawing up preliminary contracts - as well as drafting legal memos for individual departments or the management board.
As a qualified lawyer (preferably with a law degree from a Nordic country) with at least three years experience in the field of property finance as well as credit and security checks for large-scale, structured credits, you are well suited for this task. Preferably, you have gained your experience working for either a bank or a law firm. Your expertise in loan and security documentation in the Nordic legal system should be coupled with a very good working knowledge of the credit regualtions regarding banking and supervisory procedures in the relevant jurisdiction.
You speak perfect English and at least one of the Nordic languages. Additionally, a basic knowledge of German would be of advantage. Your negotiating skills are backed up by well-developed social competence, good communication and conflict management skills plus a purpose-driven approach. Cooperation with both internal and external partners requires team spirit, adaptability and stamina as well as a practical way of thinking.
Interested individuals of either sex who meet these requirements should apply without delay, preferably by e-mail. Please quote the reference no. FA-2055 in all correspondence.
