Aareal Bank reveals its Wiesbaden location
- Expansion of corporate headquarters
- Commitment to science and research
Wiesbaden, 25 April 2007– Today, Aareal Bank is celebrating the topping-out ceremony of its new office building in Steubenstraße together with Roland Koch, the Hessian Prime Minister, and Dr. Helmut Georg Müller, the mayor of Wiesbaden. The completion of the extension of the Wiesbaden corporate headquarters offers space for up to 192 workstations, spread over two office buildings. 783 employees currently work at the location.
“The investments in the new office complex are a signal of our successful business development in 2006. We are convinced that we will successfully implement our new growth programme FUTURE 2009 from this strong business location,” states Dr. Wolf Schumacher, Chairman of the Management Board of Aareal Bank.
As patron of the Real Estate Management Institute of the European Business School, Aareal Bank actively supports the link between teaching and corporate practice in Germany, in particular at its headquarters in Wiesbaden. This commitment is clarified in the preliminary panel discussion on the topic: “Science and business – a wise symbiosis?” with Professor Nico Rottke of the Real Estate Management Institute (EBS). In addition to the integration of business and science, the bank attributes great importance to the exchange of business and politics at its Wiesbaden location. This is illustrated by the subsequent panel discussion on the attraction of Germany as an investment location by Minister President Koch and Chairman of the Management Board Schumacher.
