Christian Feldbrügge appointed new Director of Corporate Communications / Public Relations at Aareal Bank

Wiesbaden, 20 September 2007 – Christian Feldbrügge (40) is the new Director of Corporate Communications / Public Relations at Aareal Bank AG. Within the scope of this newly created post, Feldbrügge will be responsible for press and public relations as well as internal bank communications.

Feldbrügge reports to Sven H. Korndörffer, Managing Director of Corporate Communications and spokesman of the Aareal Bank Group. Until he joined Aareal Bank, Feldbrügge was in charge of the German branch of the PR agency, HBS International, in Frankfurt and was responsible for communications on behalf of well-known international financial services providers.

“Christian Feldbrügge has comprehensive experience in financial and capital market communication, which he will now bring to bear on the communications side of Aareal Bank Group’s growth strategy”, states Korndörffer.

Feldbrügge studied in Münster, graduating in History and Political Sciences. After a period of work experience at BASF AG, he worked for several years on the agency side, including as Group Head at Hiller, Wüst & Partner (now Hill & Knowlton) in Aschaffenburg. He then managed the Press & Public Relations department of Fidelity Investments in Germany and Austria.
