Our focus in Poland is commercial properties, e.g. offices, logistic and retail properties as well as hotels. The largest elements to date are office and retail properties. For all property classifications we offer short and long term loans for both development and investment purposes.
Aareal Bank Group has been active in Poland since 1998 and our local subsidiary has twice won the prestigious " Best Real Estate Bank in CEE award" notably in 2004 and 2006. We are active in Warsaw but also in all the principal regional cities.
Our operations in Warsaw, Aareal Financial Service Polska Sp. z o.o. is a wholly owned business development subsidiary of Aareal Bank. This team is supported by a multi lingual team of professionals and mostly native Poles in our headquarters. We have been involved in some of the most successful Shopping Centre developments in Poland. In 2004 we arranged the financing of the biggest shopping centre in Poland, Arkadia, which also is one of the biggest on the European Continent, in 2005 we financed the Silesia City Center Project in Krakow with TriGranit, and in 2006 financed two of the largest acquisitions in CEE, Heitman's acquisition of the Mokotow Business Park from GTC, and London & Regional's acquisition of the Rondo 1 office tower.
