Aareal Bank has been active in Russia for close to two years and we have closed and paid out a number of loans during this period. We are familiar with the peculiarities of the legal and tax system, and overall in the closure of transactions in Russia.

For the moment we are focussing on Moscow and St Petersburg and look at larger scale development and investment opportunites in all major asset classes, such as offices, retail, logistics & hotels. Our clients are a mixture of both, Russian and international developers & investors.

Our operations in Russia are spearheaded by Karl Wilson, who also co-ordinates our CEE activites.
