For the 4th time the Boston Consulting Group and Germany’s manager magazin honoured the 100 most influential women in German business. Produced by strategy consultancy Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM), “Diversity Champions: BCG Gender Diversity Index” is a study analysing Germany’s top 100 listed corporations in terms of the balance of genders in their Management and Supervisory Boards, and by the remuneration paid to the members of both these boards. Deadline for consideration was 30 June 2018.
Out of a possible 100 points awarded to companies for having an even gender balance and identical remuneration for men and women in both boards, MDAX-listed Aareal Bank scored 80 points, giving it the number-one spot in this index.
The award ceremony was held at the “Most Influential Women in German Business” gala evening in Berlin on 28 March, where Aareal Bank’s Supervisory Board Chairman Marija Korsch accepted the award for most diverse company and offered her sincere thanks on behalf of the staff at Aareal Bank, Aareon and all the Group’s subsidiaries.
