What we stand for

We would like to make an active contribution to the transformation towards a sustainable world. Our staff live up to their responsibilities by finding solutions that help the financial sector and the property industry put sustainability into practice. Our own ESG targets are documented using measurable KPIs, and we are systematically implementing them. 

Diversity is what we do ‒ the more viewpoints we consider, the better our decisions become. Put it another way: diversity is what drives our success. It is based on mutual appreciation, trust and respect.

What we're planning next

We do not rest on our laurels but constantly review our achievements. One example of this are our regular fair pay analyses performed by consulting firm Baumgartner & Partner together with Germany's Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.

And we're not just focusing on ourselves, either: we also take our social responsibility seriously. That's why we support cultural and social projects in the region and have committed ourselves to ensuring comprehensive sustainability management. What is more, Aareal Bank has signed up to Germany's Diversity Charter (Charta der Vielfalt), which aims to increase diversity in the workplace.
