Wiesbaden/Mainz, 03 July 2017 – Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WestImmo), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aareal Bank AG, has transferred its banking operations, together with related loan and securities portfolios, to Aareal Bank AG, by way of a split-off. The split-off became effective upon entry into WestImmo's Commercial Register on 30 June 2017. Following the split-off, WestImmo will assume the functions of a loan servicing entity within Aareal Bank Group, having changed its company name and object for this purpose: with immediate effect, WestImmo will operate under the name of "Westdeutsche Immobilien Servicing AG"; it will no longer conduct its own banking activities, and will focus on the servicing of property loans.
