Access to the XS2A technical interfaces (APIs) in accordance with the Payment Services Directive (PSD II)
You offer innovative services within the framework of Payment Service Directive II (PSD2) and are a respectively licensed provider? Test the connection of your service via the Access-to-Account interface (since 14.06.2019: under live conditions with real accounts of customers with a two-factor authentication during the "market test phase"), which fulfills all technical and legal requirements of the PSD2.
PSD as background for the Access-to-Account interface (XSA2)
The current EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2) set forth by the European Banking Authority (EBA) enables certified third-party providers (TPP) to call up account information and trigger payments, provided that clients have approved of this, resp., have commissioned such services. The relevant services are based on so-called Access-to-Account interfaces (XSA2) for the exchange of data between third-party providers and the respective banks.
In line with the BerlinGroup standard V1.3.2, Aareal Bank makes its PSD2 interface available to third-party providers during the market test phase.
